Good location for area
Stayed in rooms fronting Sea. Beds were hard and air con turned off at midnite. Staff was helpful and most could help in English. Breakfast buffet was okay to start the day. Our rooms were in good shape, but when air went off at midnite it got hot. Several good rest just south of hotel and Nettuno at the south end was worth the walk. Only ate breakfast at hotel, many options in and near Maiori for food.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Bank next store, Gelato on corner. Rented a boat from harbor-great deal because you can go from Salerno to Sorrento in three hours stopping in between, maybe the best way to see the coast. Pompeii is a must. Shopping in Postiano and Amalfi had more variety.

Hotel is well run and is ideally positioned on the promenade in the resort centre. The rooftop terrace bar / restaurant is well appointed and offers spectacular panoramic views of the sea and surrounding cliffs and mountains. The only quibble is the absence of free parking (adjacent carpark costs 40euros per night) and the rooftop reataurant kitchen closes at 2 pm for lunch. The resort itself is great for a relaxing / family holiday or for exploring the Amapfi coast.

Great hotel with wonderful staff
Set next to the beach, this hotel is a little gem. The general attitude of staff is positive, helpful and they do their upmost to make your holiday a positive experience. Most of the staff speak english. The evening meal is very acceptable particularly compared to the local restaurants. Breakfast could be improved with cold milk and fresh fruit.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Dont book trips before you go. The hotel uses a good company providing trips. The trips you book in the UK or elswwhere may not take into consideration that you have to travel for hours to get to the pick up point and back - this can add up to 4 hours to an already long day.The locally booked trips will pick you up and set you down at the door. Dont take towels - the hotel provides them for the beach. Get the hotel to book cabs - its cheaper Ginos cafe next door does a good and cheap lunch
