With views like these!!
Great location with stunning views across the Bay of Naples with Mount Versuvius to the left of centre and Sorrento to the right of centre!!!! Outstanding! The Hotel staff were excellent! The room was comfortable (although i must say the bath tub was a little thin for me) A superb base to be off on an adventure!

Excellent hotel
Spent a great 3 nights here. We were upgraded to a suite on checking in - a lovely surprise and a beautiful room with two sets of windows opening onto a large balcony - great views of the bay and Vesuvius; two bathrooms and a walk-in wardrobe. Ate each night in the hotel and the food was excellent. Staff very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable and good English spoken.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Let the hotel arrange a trip to the island of Capri. You get collected from the hotel by bus and have an escorted trip via boat and bus before being returned to the hotel. The trip can only be paid for in cash though, not credit cards.

Solid Choice for Sorrento
Belair is a solid choice for Sorrento. Best features Incredible cliffside view of Bay of Naples, Sorrento, and Mt Vesuvius ( worth the choice alone) Very friendly and helpful staff Extremely clean room Nice pool and common areas Within easy walking distance to town center (10 minutes at stroll pace) All rooms face bay, we slept with patio doors open each night. (and there is nothing between you and the bay...no streets...so it is incredible peaceful.) Solid breakfast with an incredible setting... Not perfect... The hotel was built in the 60s and is old...But with that said, it was extremely clean and the views from your room and balcony more than make up for the dated decor. We will definetly stay there again..

Favorita Parrucchianno (glass house restaurant) was outstanding for both the service setting and the food Close second to the glass house restaurant was the Forestieri with good food and outstanding view if you eat on the terrace
