Tuscan dream
We had a marvelous stay at Hotel Rotelle in August 2007. The hotel is small and intimate while the rooms are large and comfortable. Each room has an entrance from the outside and a sitting room as well as bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast offered an assortment of sweet cakes, rolls, yogurt, sliced meat and cheese as well as cappucino. Dinner in the hotel was very good and offered local specialities. Staff was happy to make suggestions for other restaurants in the area and made reservations for us as well. The pool was very inviting to our teenagers and a great place to sip coffee after dinner. Well be back.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Montepulciano is about 10 km away and a great town to walk around (at the top of a hill). But, dont overlook Montefollonico - youll see signs on the way to Montepulciano; much smaller medieval town with charm and very few tourists.
