Great, relaxing stay

We were very impressed with the service received from helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble from airport transfers to booking excursions, one of our tours was running late to pick us up from the hotel and the staff went out of their way to contact them several times and keep us updated. We also dealt with the staff at the hotel’s airport desk who were just as helpful and lovely to deal with. We were given an apartment room which had great views of the marina and was very comfortable indeed. We didn’t notice any noise at all from the surrounding building work from inside the hotel as others have mentioned previously. Very special touches with roses and cakes and snacks delivered to our room every day, I would highly recommend the booking the club room. The marina is a great location to stay in, very scenic and has everything around that you would need, althuogh you will definitely need a car or to catch taxi’s if you are going further into the city than the provided shuttles take you - to the beach and main malls. It will be a fabulous area once the metro stations all open up, this will make Dubai much easier to get around all together.

We found the Big Bus tour very useful for traveling to and from and between all the major attractions in the city. You can buy 24 or 48 hour tickets, also with the benefit of learning all about the areas as you go. Until all the metro stations are completed this would be the easiest and cheapest way of seeing everything.

Beautiful Hotel

The only bad thing about this hotel is the building work that is happening around it. Apart from that it is a first class hotel.

Great Hotel

We picked the hotel based on the reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disapointed. We stayed in a club room and were picked up by a white Lexus from the airport. We would recomend a club room as it gets you a better room and access to the club louge. The hotel is very well laid out with very good restaurants and bars. There are number of great bars particularly bar 44 at the top of the hotel which has great views and lovely cocktails. The budda bar is well worth a visit although it is rather expensive for the standard of food. We have eaten in a number of michelin star restaurants and the food is not to that standard but is a similar price. The staff were excellent and extremely friendly. They could not do enoiugh to help. The hotel is very well decorated and guests are encouraged to be smartly dressed which adds to the ambiance. There is a shuttle bus to the beach which takes about 5 mins at the sister hotel, Le Meridian. The beach is beautiful and staff come round with cold towels and sorbe. The water is like a bath and there are life guards on view at all times. There is a lot of building work but it did not bother us as we used taxis everywhere. At night we also did not notice the noise being on the 37th floor plus the beds are extremely comfortable. Overal a great hotel where you can relax and enjoy Dubai. Dubai itself is not cheap but it is well worth a visit.
