Great Hotel and Great Staff
I spent a short break with my daughter at the Grand Hotel Central and could not have wished for better service. All the staff were extremely helpful, polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Other travellers have commented on the lighting in the rooms and I must admit that this was a problem, probably designed by a man!Other than that the hotel was extremely clean, the linen was changed everday toether with towels which were of luxurious condition. The hotel did have a restaurant but as we did not use it, I cannot comment on the quality. There is also a pool on the roof with great views over the city. I would certainly recommend this hotel which is also in a great location near a metro.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Try to ensure you carry only the bare essentials and do not wear any expensive jewellery. Try not to look too much like a tourist and be aware, as in any city, there are places at night where you do not want to go.
