You can’t go wrong
We first stayed at the Elliott House in 1998 for our honeymoon. While it may not have quite met our expectations on this return trip, nevertheless it still remains one of our favorite places in Charleston. It could not be more perfectly situated for exploring the charm and history of this wonderfully preserved gem of a city.

Great Location, rooms need fixup
Location of hotel is excellent --convenient to exploring the historic area. Excellent restaurant next door that appears t be affiliated with hotel. While hotel may meet criteria of being of "historic origin", and one should expect rooms that have historic charm, the rooms still need to be updated to reflect the going room rates.
