Great Hotel
The hotel is fantastic. The only issue is the hot water problems that the hotel is experiancing with the city. We had issues both mornings with hot water, but the hotel staff was able to fix the issue quickly both days. I would have preferred not to have the problem at all, but it wouldn’t stop me from staying at the hotel again in the future.

Great service
We traveled with 2 dogs and the hotel was great at catering to them. They gave us bowls, mats, tags, and treats that we could keep.

Great Location
Having spent longer in Vegas before going to Santa Monica, this hotel was booked at short notice. Thus, on arrival, we were given a room on the ground floor which we could not look out of in the morning because sunbathers were looking in! Having expressed our dissatisfaction with this, the hotel was brilliant - quickly upgrading & moving us to a room on the 3rd floor with a view of Santa Monica Beach & Pier. Reception, Concierge & Maids were helpful & courteous; some of the bar staff less so. Overall, a great location & good hotel to stay at.
Traveller's tip on shopping
Take a trip to The Promenade (Santa Monica Boulevard etc.) sooner rather than later - there are some quality shops, bars & restaurants to spend time in. Also, hire the bikes, take a left and ride to Venice Beach; the experience is very California and highly enjoyable.
