Unique Place to Stay
Second Home was a unique experience being owned and operated by the family of one of the most renowned Peruvian artists. We wre given a tour of not only the B&B portion but also taken to the studio and private home of the artist. That was the most amazing part. A nice place to stay and a cultural tour at the same time. It’s close proximity to the historic area of Peru was exceptional as well. All within walking distance.

A little Oasis in Lima
My boyfriend and I stayed here after completing the Inca Trail and found it to be a great place to unwind and relax after a 4 day trek. We had an ocean view room where we could hear the waves crashing and it was fabulous! Just so great. The art work was interesting and the staff was cordial. I found the owner to be a bit standoffish yet she was also quite helpful, so I guess I shouldn’t really complain. I wish I could stay in a place like this in every major city around the world. It was a nice place to end our trip and to feel some luxury in a very different but awesome environment.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast style Hotel
We stayed at Second Home Peru our first and last nights in Lima and loved both visits. The staff is very friendly and Lillian the owner was very gracious. the grounds were beautiful as they are the home of artist Victor Delfin. Wonderful sculptures and paintings fill the common areas, guest rooms, and grounds. Lillian will also give you a tour of the series of buildings on the property. The rooms were charming, clean, and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Lima!
