SUPER LOCATION
Reasonable rates and very conveniate to Greenville Convention Center. Very good hot breakfast bar included.

Needs improvement
I felt that for the money spent, I did not receive the ammenties promised. My hotel room was less than adequate compared to others at the same rate. The restaurant/bar was pleasant but also over priced for what was being offered. I will not go back to this hotel with the same expectations. It was at the least a one star hotel and completely overpriced. Do not book this hotel expecting a fine hotel room!

Fun Stay
The attached bar is popular with the locals. Some nights there’s comedy, other nights a live band, and City Hotel guests receive either free entry or a significant break depending on the entertainment. We enjoyed ourselves. As for our room: We didn’t realize we had a suite. It was quite spacious. However, for some reason the room lighting was ridiculously dim. It seemed like there were 25 watt bulbs in every lamp. So the spaciousness and the poor lighting combined to create an effect I can only call "cavernous." It was weird.

We’ve been to Greenville twice. The people there are so friendly it’s almost like a Twilight Zone episode.
