It served its purpose
The is Best Western trying to be upscale. Nice large lobby and breakfast area. A small bar with short hours. The setting in the woods is nice. The kids loved the heated pool and hot tub on a chilly evening. The room is rather low end with standard beds, low thread count sheets and towels, and inexpensive furniture. They are charging a rate that is comperable to other mid level hotel chains, but dont offer the same level of quality.
The train trip (Grand Canyon RR) to the Canyon was an excellent kid friendly adventure, but bring your own food.
