Great Location
This hotel is prefectly situated. It’s a 5 minute walk from the Guggenheim. All you have to do is walk across the bridge and you are there. Along the bridge is a trail that is great for walking along at night. The hotel is also only 3-4 blocks away from a grocery store, ATMs, restaurants, etc.

Good Choice
Good modern hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, even if a bit on the small size. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and efficient. The hotel is well situated, between the Old Town and the Gugenheim Museum, about 10 minutes walk to each. The museum is not as close as the hotel description suggests, and I doubt if it is worth paying a premium for a ’museum view’.
The hotel buffet breakfast was ok, but a bit pricey at 15 euro. Also, if eating out at night in Bilbao be aware that restaurants don’t open until 8.30 pm. Tapas style bars are lively and plentiful all day, but practically everything winds down by 11 pm.

great hotel - would return
excellent position, comfortable hotel, reception staff very good - cafe bar was over priced and service was indifferent. Deluxe room was good with king size bed overlooking guggenheim. very good breakfests.

excellent position for visiting guggenheim - catch the funicular at back of hotel for great views plus amazing swimming complex.
