Great location
This hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the Grand Plage and right next to the town centre. The rooms are generally clean, have a balcony and a useful, well stocked kitchenette. They only provide breakfast but it is pricey at 14 euros per person and there are plenty of shops nearby. There is no restaurant but again you are in the main town centre and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. However if you are coming with kids you need to know that the childrens beds are bunk beds and the top bed is only suitable for children aged 6 and above. They gave us a cot for our 2 year old but if we had 2 kids aged say 5 and 4 it would have been a problem. The reception closes between 11 and 4 and after 8.30 which can be a problem if you arrive late. They will leave your key and give you the entry code however
Theres a public park 5 minutes walk away with a playground at the top end. The aquarium is also a good treat on a wet day. Otherwise this is a beach holiday town, great for sandcastles, surfing and sea bathing.

great central location
Great location, close to all amenities and within easy walking distance. Room was very clean, but without airconditioning it was very warm. if you head out at night ,make sure you take the business card they give you on arrival as it has a door code and there is nobody on reception at night!
The local food market is a must, great local and regional food and open every day

Centraln friendly reasonable but just a little bit tired
the staff were lovely on the desk and you cant fault the location - 2 blocks in from the sea and about 100 yards from the pedestrian presinct that marks the start of shopping. the living space was, well, spacious and the bed/bathroom/loo small but functional. my only reservation would be that the feel and gear is all a bit basic and tired - half the pans didnt have lids, there wasnt a tin opener all the mugs were stained etc. I was with a bunch of kids so not that bothered but for 3 stars and at those out of season rates, a bit lacking.
go up the hill to the Asian museum and the Mediatec - cool collection in one and loads of books/mags/papers in the other
