Baystreet
My room was above the entrance to the car park which was on a steep hill and because we were in the clubbing capital of Malta, it was difficult to sleep. Breakfast wasnt great but edible. The hotel itself was lovely and the internet was available 24/7. Very handy and lovely staff.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
Loads of great clubs but Fuego was best for me as a salsa lover!

Loved Malta but not The Baystreet Hotel
What Can I say about this hotel.... Unless you are a teenager going on holiday with a goup of friends this hotel is not for you. I think it is not advertised correctly, ok it says it is inside a shopping complex but I never relised that you would have to walk through the complex to get to places, the reception is on the ground floor and the rooms are two floors above, the pool and restaurant are also on different floors and you often find yourself walking through crowds of people to get to the facilities. The staff are not vey helpfull as when we arrived we were given the key to the room and no directions as to where it was, or where we had to go for breakfast. The hotel was over run with students from the schools near by so it did not feel like a 4 star hotel at all and they should think about reviewing its four star status. In the mornings you can hear the cleaners dragging the chairs and the sound proofing of the rooms from the nightlife can be of putting for some but if you are planning to stay out late at night then it is not a problem. Dispite all of the above the hotel is in a good location for the night life which i found great.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
The nightlife is good and if you stay in St Julians there is lots to do at night.....top tip for someone in their 20s - go to an older bar with mature peopl, as you can get into a bar at 16 in malta so there is a lot of young people running around the place.
