A touch of old elegance
The hotel is tired and in need of a makeover. The furniture in the bedrooms and elsewhere is scratched and marked. The cleanliness of the bedroom was good, the bathroom left a lot to be desired (the outside of the lavatory pan was not cleaned for 5 days). This however was made up for by the friendliness and expert attention of the staff. We received nothing but consideration whilst we were there, in particular from the Manager.

authentic georgian house hotel
a wonderfully atmospheric and friendly hotel set in a beautiful georgian square in town centre. tables outside for drinks overlooking the splendid church that dominates the square. very friendly service and a decent breakfast in lovely dining room. a great find.

Very Very Noisy
If you like lots and lots of noise (doors banging, creaky floorboards and hundreds of very noisy Seagulls squaking all night long) then this is the place for you. If you are looking for something a little quieter look elsewhere.

Very tired but friendly hotel - Great breakfast!
The Pratts hotel claims to date back to Georgian times and the bathroom in our room seemed indeed to be very antique. Cleanliness in the room was substandard and I noticed throughout the hotel cracks and stains in the ceilings. The decoration in some of the public areas is a bit tatty... The hotel needs a serious refurbishment. Having said that, the staff were generally very friendly and hospitable. The traditional English breakfast, served in the dining room, was generous and delicious.

Very Nice Hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All the staff, particularly the two Receptionists we encountered, were very nice and most helpful. Our room was well stocked with tea and coffee. The Bathroom was also well stocked with toiletries etc.

Excellent location for the sites of Bath and close to the Theatre Royal.

it was fine
a old fashion english hotel , slightly shabby but clean , in need of a refurb, however staff very friendly, room very clean, breakfast good, all in all a pleasant stay so no complaints
