Old world hospitality

Great location in the middle of "Old Quebec"-old hotel, well restored (no elevator, though). The 400 year old city was splendid. Staff was cheerfully helpful and competent.

Easy taxi ride from the airport ($40 flat rate-- only way from airport to hotel). Definitly a "walking city" (with some hills) Horse drawn carriage was great.

It’s in a great neighborhood with great front-desk folks

The best thing was the hotel’s location in Old Quebec. Almost anything we wanted was within walking distance, from the St. Lawrence River to the quaint shops and restaurants. The desk staff and the valet were very friendly and helpful. Our main problem was the maid situation. There seemed to be a different one every night in our week’s stay. Some knew what they were supposed to do; some did not.

Comfy and pleasant

A perfect location, close to all the things you want to see.Don’t need a car to get around this splendid city. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. The staff were all helpful.I suggest you get a room on the 3rd or 4th floor to reduce the noise from the street. No elevators,so be prepared to schlep up and down narrow stairs. A lovely place.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

I really tried to parlez ,but the local people were sympathetic to the cause and spoke Anglais.
