Excellent Value, Convenient Location
While the outside of the Glasgow Lofts building is not overly impressive (nor is the reception area), the actual apartment in which we stayed was clean, bright, and well-appointed with tea service, flat screen televisions, free wireless access, jacuzzi tub with Molton Brown toiletries, bathrobe, and all of the necessary kitchen items we needed during our three day stay. While our greeting was not overly warm, a late-night issue with the washing machine was resolved by an wonderfully helpful concierge. We found the location to be perfect- easily walkable to the Marks & Spencer food hall, the shops on Sauchiehall Street, the hop-on hop-off bus, and Queen Street station. Although other reviews have mentioned an issue with nighttime noise, we didnt have any problems despite being given a room on the fifth floor overlooking Renfrew Street.

Freedom and space
For a family of four its a nightmare finding child-friendly facilities at a reasonable cost. This was just exactly what we wanted having stayed at a similar (at least in concept) hotel in Reims. The apartment is about four times the size of a hotel suite. Two excellent bathrooms (one with a jacuzzi bath as well as a decent shower) complete with fancy soaps - my daughters were delighted with this touch. Sauchiehall St is 2 mins walk away with all the main shops so you can just pop out to buy M&S goodies for supper! Wi-Fi proved reliable albeit not a full-strength signal. TV and DVD on freeview(if I was being picky it wasnt especially up-to-date but it worked OK) and DVDs to loan. All in all an excellent place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. A tad noisy at night but to be expected for a city centre location.
Right by the Glasgow Film Theatre and a few minutes away from Cineworld in Renfrew St. Close to Cowcaddons tube station and then only 10 mins or so by tube to Kelvinhall for Kelvingrove museums and art gallery. 10 mins walk to Glasgow Central station.

A Real Glaswegian Gem
A thoroughly pleasant and comfortable place to stay at a great price. The lofts are centrally located within walking distance to the main shopping/nightlife strips. But with the full kitchen and floor-to-ceiling windows, you can also stay in and enjoy the view of the city over a homecooked dinner. Cant wait to stay there again.
