Best Western Tigullio Royal Hotel

Eastbourne in Italy
Hotel was Nice, the beds were a little hard but other than that cannot really complain. The breakfast was good, they catered for all. Unfortunately the area is a little quiet with a lot of old people staying in this particular area. The scenery is lovely but I would strongly recommend having a rental car. We took a day trip to Florence and Pisa wish was interesting. The area does not boast excellent beaches so you will need to hire a sun bed on one of the piers, this can be very costly. Quiet area with not much to do except spend money, this holiday will not be cheap one.

Everything was fantastic except they lost our passports!!!! and they denied it too. So, lost 2 days vacation and + EUR 1000 to replace the passport + hotel + 4 hours train ride back and forth later. So please hold on to your passport!

Great location and view if you get the right room
We stayed in a junior suite, which wasnt really a suite just a larger double room. Even then the room wasnt huge, but had a great balcony facing the harbour. The hotel is fairly small and compact and i would reccommend a higher floor to get the best view if you are facing the sea. Parking seemed to be a problem when we visited but this was only i think due to the large festival taking place (which was fantastic).

take a boat tour of the surrounding bays, including Portofino.
