Home from Home
We were so suprised at this "Boutique Hotel". From the moment we entered the lobby, we felt important and cared for, the staff acted like old friends. The concierge couldnt do enough for us. He organised trips, recommended restaurants and gave us his card to call him if we had any problems. The rooms were large enough with a clean double shower and ward robe, huge comfy double bed, tea and coffee makings, flat screen tv, radio, ironing board& iron. They also did laundering for the clients. The breakfast covered all tastes and appetites and was freshly prepared. There was also a patio (which is pretty rare in NY).They told us that"This is your hotel, feel free"and we did. There is even a small gym on the lower level. Computer access and comfy chairs and sofa in the lobby. We will definitely be singing their praises to people in England and look forward to seeing them again!
Traveller's tip on local attractions
We bought a 48hour ticket for the Grey Line buses, which do 4 loops with a professional tour guide. You can hop on and off the double deckers and receive lots of information about the areas. Its a good way of getting your bearings and save your feet. You also get a different view of things from the top of a bus.Our hotel was just along the road from the bus stop. The subway is also very cheap and easy to use.

Will Definately Go Back.
Superfriendly & helpful staff, comforable room. Totally Pleasant experience, though you should be out on the town, not spending 24/7 in your room.
Traveller's tip on dining
Go have an untukey club & mashed potatoes with gravy at Kates joint in the village.
