Good central place to stay

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was huge on top floor and had good bathroom shower and plenty of good quality towels. Beds fine breakfasts good - attentive staff would provide freshly fried eggs etc as wanted. Weather was foul so we played scrabble in the bar restaraunt a couple of times while the bar staff provided coffee waiter service.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

The lanes and the marina are good places to go and the Pavillion is interesting. There is a good cafe in the museum and that was an interesting place to go too. Unfortunately the weather never cleared and we left a day early. There is sufficient to keep you occupied in rain and gales - but only for 6 nights not the 7 we had booked!

Queens Hotel brighton

This hotel is very situated on the sea front. It is in good decorative order and the staff are very friendly. Rooms are spacious although my room was oddly shaped as when you came through the door you had the bathroom on your left and a wardrobe on your right then you went down 4 steps to get to the bed. These steps were a bit of a struggle if you got up during the night. My room was on the front and I wa sworried about noise however they are well sound proofed. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would go back again.

Traveller's tip on dining

Be early for breakfast as seating is limited.
