beautiful hotel, wonderful service
I have stayed in this hotel many times. In fact I believe that my cousin was married at this hotel. The service is always exceptional. I do speak spanish fluently but the hotel staff also speaks english. This one of the most beautiful hotels in Puebla. Exceptional service, with unmatched mexican charm and nostalgia.

Marriott Real Puebla
Overall it was a good place to stay. It has a beautiful colonial building with lots of history. Marriott needs to upgrade the bathroom to meet the 21st century standard of appearance and cleanliness. Nice staff and good overall service

By all means, the hotel is not walking distance to downtown. You need to take a taxi or a bus in order to have outside the hotel dining and entertainment experience.
