Respectable full-service hotel
I booked this hotel knowing it was not in city center as I had a car while traveling throughout Bulgaria. Though the property itself is easily findable and on a main road, actually getting to the opposite side or front entrance to the hotel requires a tedious, yet well-marked detour over poor roads and high-rise apartment blocks. Otherwise, the property has a full-service restaurant and bar, excellent front-desk staff and free WIFI throughout. Rooms were typical of Best Western, functional not luxurious with nice tv channel assortment, comfortable bed and clean bathrooms. The hotel had a sauna/gym equipment in the basement that was lightly used and well-lit. Though the hotel is not in city center Varna, it is just across the highway from the spectacular oceanfront park that goes on for kilometers in Varna - excellent for runs/walks/bike rides or Black Sea sightseeing.

good quality of stay, good service, terrible breakfast, hard to find by car
It is hard to find if you drive on your own as it is well hiden within’ residential suburb and almost surrounded by post-communistic blocks of flats. You might need to mention "chayka sto-devedesee" to help taxi drivers find it out. I have found the hotel spotlessly clean. All staff (besides of rude food and beverage manager) was nice and spoke good English. Breakfast (I’ve stayed for three days) was terrible every time. All stuff cold, no selection to choose from. Do not try thingy called "orange juice" there. If you look for clean and comfortable place and do not care for breakfast - this is a good place to stay.

Quiet and helpful
Hotel is on outskirts of Varna with good service. Staff are friendly and eager to please. Breakfast is good when delivered to the room. Hotel is a good value and well placed for beaches and Varna itself. Good bus routes to centre and to Golden Sands. BUses are very cheap and regular.

Try the restaurant next door to the hotel for an evening meal - excellent food and service.
