Great hotel
I can not say too many bad things about this hotel. Everything was fantastic, including the room that was allocated to us. The staff made our stay most enjoyable. 5 out of 5!

Oriental Palace (2 mins from the hotel) was the worst chinese meal i’d ever had, not recommended!

Very happy
The hotel was perfectly placed geographically, away from the over-touristy SW coast, but close enough for day visits. It’s close to the airport but the airport is in dead ground and the noise is never intrusive. The only thing about the SE coast is the wind! However, the hotel has effective wind-blocking screens around the pool area. Locally, there are shops, a supermarket and eateries within easy walking distance, but if you’re beach-lovers who don’t want to travel far, then you may be disappointed. The other guests were multinational, pleasant, mainly middle-aged couples and families. It is not a rowdy hotel, but the small bar in the pleasant open-plan foyer allows you to meet and chat with friends. The Staff were lovely, always friendly and willing to help, but without being intrusive. Our room was simple, fresh, pleasant and clean. Importantly, every room has a sea view which my wife loved. The outdoor pool and and sun-decks are very pleasant, with different areas and an outside bar. Despite some odd timings for the spa and gym, the spa is small but relaxing and the gym is enough to keep you ticking over. The buffet breakfast is excellent, with a wide range of multinational fare to cater for any taste. One can get snacks at the bar for lunch and the evening meals were good and ok value. Overall, we picked this as a quiet value get-away with options to branch out if desired - we are very happy with that decision and would go again.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We like getting out-and-about, so a car is absolutely essential. We hired one at the airport very easily and very cheaply and it really made our holiday. We visited many different beaches and local attractions etc, but were always able to return to our quiet haven at the hotel. A car allows you to be flexible and plan trips to Punta Roja beach (just up the coast past Los Abrigos), the beaches on the Adeje coast and the central mountains where there are some great views.
