Was great, would go back again, many times
Loved the room, and the area, great breakfast. Have already referred people to the site.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Enjoyed the hike to the falls, and the blowing rock, have seen before, but was perfect weather, for being out doors. Shops were interesting. Just clean beautiful area.

Very nice
We stayed in the cottage. Very quaint, relaxing atmosphere. The bathrooms are old and small, but other than that everything else was very nice. This was our second stay and both times we were pleased with the hotel.

The Hillwinds Inn is right downtown. Walking distance to great resteraunts and shopping.

Motel marketed as B & B
This was not a B & B but more of a motel. The breakfast was some dry cereal, yogurts and coffee. Would not look for better accomodations next time I travel to Blowing Rock.
