Good homebase for the family
I stayed in this hotel with my family (wife and two young kids) as we explored the central coast. Not only did I pay less by staying in Santa Maria, but I stayed in a much nicer hotel. I picked this one after reading the reviews and it lived up to the good ones. I should say that we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel, but we did have breakfast there one morning and used the pool. Overall very nice, everything as expected, and a great value.

Nice no frills hotel
This is a nice hotel, nothing fancy and no extras such as breakfast. Alittle pricey for what you get but overall a nice stay. The room was spacious with a nice kicthen area and the bathroom was a good size. Try to get the 4th floor to avoid nosy upstairs people.

Great hotel, clean & convenient
We have stayed at this hotel on our last visit. They have a nice restaurant & bar attached to the lobby that is convenient. The location is great as it is right off the freeway and at the north end of Broadway which is the main "drag". I judge my hotels by the pillows they provide. They provide nice pillows. In addition, they do not have the disgusting bedspread but instead a small strip of material on the end of the bed to imply a bedspread offering a clean, comfortable bedding that you aren’t afraid to touch or sleep in. My only complaint was that after two days I called and left a message with housekeeping that we would be gone the rest of the day and that we needed clean towels. When we got back late at night they had not been in. I did promptly receive towels the next day when I called. Good hotel with a nice enough pool.
