nice hotel
realy quite, warm, romantic and overall relaxing the view was amazing as it was on the sea side, the service is on of the best hotels i,v ever been, the location is perfect as it was neer from the center but on quite side of the city it,s just nice

Architecturaly interesting
The hotel is a fine example of the best of late 1960’s Scandinavian architectural design, with excellent use of space, and designed to make the best use of the site. Some guests may find this a little dated, but there is clear evidence of ongoing sympathetic renovation. Like most guests from the UK, the lack of in-room tea/coffee making facilities was disapointing, but this is usually the case in Scandinavia. The hotel is a little far out for a comfortable stroll into town, particularly in bad weather, but is served by a half hourly bus service. I would like to see the hotel again in a year or so when the refurbishment is complete.

The hotel sits in a stunning location over looking Aarhus Bay. The rooms are less than a few feet from the water. They are currently re building the hotel and there is no bar. The restaurant is run by amateurs and whilst the food is good we waited 25 minutes for the main course to arrive. At breakfast not one member of staff talked to us or gave any assistance in respect of dining tables of to take us through the buffet lay out .....The rooms are pleasant enough but the pillows are useless, small and uncomfortable. The bath in the shower is so narrow you can’t actually place you’re feet side by side. The hotel is soulless and badly designed. They are moving the restaurant which has fantastic views over the bay , to the back of the hotel where there’s nothing to see but brick walls. The hotel is also a distance from the city centre with no shops or amenities in the area. The sad thing is this hotel could be fantastic, but you get the feeling that moral is low and that most of the staff have had little in the way of training. I had to ask for the empty soap dispenser in the shower to be replaced, as housekeeping clearly didn’t check for over two days. Basically this hotel is run by "the Clueless, but the view from the rooms and the sound of the sea lapping on the beach just outside your balcony door makes it worth while. However if you expect professional service for the money, forget it and listen to the sea.
