Great Hotel: Horrible Train Noise
Overall, the hotel was great in every aspect except one. Whenever the train passes, it blasts it’s safety horn. This happens about every 20-30 minutes all day until late and starts up again early in the morning. Unfortunately the hotel has no control over this. I understand CalTrains is trying to do something about the loudness of the horn.

highly recommended
Staff were very friendly and helpful, the best we encounted on our recent trip to Canada and USA. The ferry to SF was a one minute walk from the hotel and was a great way to get to SF each day. A courtesy bus is available to go to town but not to Oakland airport / BART which I think would be most helpful.

Great Location
Great location, close to ferry that drops you off in the heart of San Francisco. Nice hotel with beautiful views and close to good restaurants.
