Comfortable Hotel
Good location...not to far away but not too close to the hustle and bustle. Extremely nice staff.

Not What I Had Expected
I was truly surprised after my recent stay at the Doubletree in VA Beach. It was not at all what I had expected from a Doubletree Hotel. The lobby area and the restaurant, was by far the best amenities in the hotel. The staff was not helpful at all, the rooms were small and cramped, the bathrooms are very tight and are in serious need of an uplift, and the pool was much smaller than I expected. I have stayed at several hotels in the Virginia Beach area over the past few years, and this was by far the worst. I chose this hotel because of the Doubletree name, even though it meant we would be approximately a mile from the beach. I was willing to give up the convenience of the beach for a nice hotel. It was the biggest mistake ever. I definitely will not be staying at this hotel again.

My Stay at Va
I think I knew what i was getting into when i reserved my room at this hotel. My entire family stayed at this hotel once in Massachusetts and said it was great. I was pretty much satisfied with everything... it was clean and very neat. I stayed there for 4 days and I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.
