Would recomend as a base in San Francisco, would go again.
Bright,Clean, Large rooms with Hairdryer, Iron. TV plus tea/coffee making facilities in room, very friendly & helpful staff, nice walk to the Marina with excellent views of the ’Golden Gate Bridge’ and Alcatraz would stay there again. Good Location, ’Mels Drive-In Diner’ just along the road for good priced tasty breakfasts and ’Americal’ meals. Only down side was slight noise from the main road, but didn’t bother us at all.

Great find close to wharf
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Quiet, clean, and very helpful staff. Whenever we are in SF, this will be our first pick!

Great Hotel, Great Location
My brother and I really enjoyed our stay at the Chelsea Motor Inn. The hotel was in a great neighborhood and the service was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Francisco.
