Tallest Hotel in Benidorm

Impressive hotel with breath taking views. Lovely room on the 24th floor. Superb beds and air conditioning system Very dissapointed with the very average quality of the food in the restaurant despite being in Spain. The hotel let itself down terribly because of this; please take note and rectify. We were asked to pay for using the hotel gym????

Not for me

We were in Benidorm for the Bruce Springsteen concert. Wouldn’t go to Benidorm for any other reason. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again if I had to go to Benidorm again. Very loud music from the pool area; very basic room - not four star at all. The breakfast area was like being in an institution - and the food wasn’t up to much. Service in the hotel was slack and staff really quite unhelpful. Generally not a place where I would want to spend my time.

Comfortable and good value for money

We read the reviews on this hotel before we left and expected to be staying in the Spanish equivalent of faulty towers! However, we were pleasantly surpised.....the hotel although not luxurious was of a comfortable standard. The main areas were spacious and the rooms clean and tidy. We stayed on a half board basis which was good value - the quality of the food was more 3 star than 4, but nevertheless plentiful and varied. The staff whom we had expected to be rude were polite and helpful. The only disappointing aspect of the hotel was the pool area which we found a bit barren. However, the hotel is only moments from a wonderful beach. If you expect the hotel to provide entertainment, then you will be disappointed. The hotel is located in a quiet area, but only a bus or taxi ride or 30 minute brisk walk away from the night life and shops of the Levante area. If you want to avoid stag and hen parties, this part of Benidorm and the Gran Bali is for you. As would be expected of any hotel drinks are relatively expensive compared to local bars, but no worse than any large 4 star hotel in the UK. However, there are a number of bars and restuarants closeby where you can eat and drink at reasonable prices. I would definitely go back to Benidorm and the Gran Bali again and recommend it to my friends and family. However, this hotel is unlikely to be your cup of tea if you want to be entertained and at the heart of Benidorm nightlife.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

If you go to the beach every day, it is cheaper to buy a parasol and some beach rolls from the local shops than to hire. Number 12 bus runs from hotel to Levante area every 1/2hr up to 11pm. Travel kettle essential if you want tea in your room. Returnable deposit for an iron. Charge for roomsafe 1/2 back when you hand key back with original receipt.
