a good base
Felt very safe here, even with kids.We saw no sign of dealers as quoted on here. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Buffet excellent value. Staff very polite. Watch out for car park charges $16 a day.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Go and eat at The Keg for a great steak. Fantastic day out was at Calgary Heritage farm . A lovely day out for young and all, but they don’t do a free breakfast anymore

Convenient for transport sightseeing and Stampede
Reception poor. Calgary was very full for stampede. After returning at 4.00 pm as room not available earlier we were told hotel was full and overbooked. As we had already paid we were eventually given a disabled room of good size. Breakfast buffet good value. Close to buses and C train, ideal location for Stampede via C train. All Sightseeing, shops and restaurants within 20 minutes walk. Parking on site but busy, parked by attendant.
