A wonderful experience

We arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon. I tried my Italian to find the person behind the counter spoke extremely good English (later in the week I found his German sounded as good). The hotel is very well maintained and has a lovely breakfast room. There is a really nice terrace at which we used to sit in the evenings with a beer after we’d got back from exploring the city. And you have to see the view from the statue of Garibaldi, it’s spectacular. Would I stay in the hotel again? Yes, without hesitation.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Get used to using the buses. They run very regularly. Yes, they are crowded but they are very efficient and cheap.

Great Hotel

Charming hotel in a beautiful neighbourhood. We found the location great - short walk to restaurants of Trastevere - or about 25 minutes to Vatican or Historic Center. Bus stops are nearby and are an excellent way to get around. The hotel has a nice pool area and a lovely breakfast room with a wide selection of cereals, pastries, meats and cheeses for breakfast. Even has two choices for eggs - hard boiled or scrambled. There is complimentary tea/coffee along with cookies set out in the bar area all day long. Staff were very helpful with information. Great experience!!!

Nice Hotel

We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel. A couple of minor detracting things were a lack of a welcome pack giving information about the hotel and its surroundings and their restaurant is not open for evening meals and there aren’t very many local ones within a short stroll.

Good sized buffet breakfast served.
