Saved a few bucks to spend at the Space Center
We spent two nights in August and had no major complaints. This is a decent place to stay if you are on a budget. The pool area is lovely, and they gave us a free hot breakfast rather than the usual continental. I was concerned about the bed after the negative comments from other reviewers, but the mattress was comfy and I got good nights’ sleep. A/C worked great (and you will need it!). The room was clean. The worst thing you can say about the place is it’s old and in need of renovation. If you’re trying to get to the Kennedy Space Center on a budget, as we were, who cares? We had extra cash to play with at the Center!
Traveller's tip on dining
The town of Cocoa looks like it has seen better days. For dozens of dining options including all your favorite chains, head to nearby Merritt Island (about 5.5 miles away).

Reasonable rates for a reasonable room
Overall, we were happy with our stay... the beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked well, the staff was freindly and the location was very convienient. I was surprised that the front desk didn’t have access to things like coffee or extra cups after housekeeping left for the night but they did try their best to accomodate us.
