The location is 15~20 mins walk to Discovery mall, but it is value for $$ if you are looking for 3~4 stars hotel in Kuta. The hotel is one year old, and condition is pretty good.

Great hotel, great location
The Vira Bali is about a 10 minute walk from the shopping mall that opens onto the beach. About 15 minutes along the beach one comes to the heart of Kuta beach. Having this crazy, busy, congested area within walking distance but not too close is ideal. The hotel itself is an oasis set in a very mixed use neighborhood, with several other resorts nearby and more being built currently. The hotel is lovely, classy, and well-run.

Small And Very Friendly
The Vira bali is a very small but friendly Hotel well run with great staff. Guests are not just a room number like most Hotels. Rooms are very comfortable, good location.
Traveller's tip on shopping
Some nice shops, but be very carefull with some of the little shops the goods are not what thay seem, look at the Quality before you buy.
