Good overnight stop
This hotel is on the outskirts of St Malo on a commercial estate with shops and restaurants nearby. Ferry is 10 minutes drive straight to terminal. Very comfortable stop over or even as a base for exploring the area.
Carfour handy for food and restaurants. Top up with petrol before going for the ferry (cheaper in France)

A good overnight stop in St Malo
We arrived on the ferry at St Malo and the hotel was easy to find. It is not central so it was a 15 euro ride both ways to go in to central St Malo to eat as we did want to enjoy a cold beer and a glass of wine. If we had known this we would have paid the extra 30 euros to be in a central hotel. The hotel does have a restaurant but it is closed on Sunday evenings. It was the same situation for breakfast in the morning, it was hotel price per head for a basic buffet or head in to town again. The hotel is French and so things which are perfectly acceptable in France are not a criticism just a good to know for future visitors. The pillows are very small, clean, but tiny, sort of for a cot actually and there is no shower curtain so the bathroom does get rather wet. Nice balcony but the view is not one you would admire. However, it was on the edge of town so if you want to head off very quickly to start your holiday you were out of St Malo very quickly.
