Best Hotel in St. Lucia for location
We loved our trip. Everyone was friendly. This hotel is by far the best for it’s location. The rooms are a little old, but we were still extremely satisfied. The location is absolutely phenomenal, and very secluded, which we loved. The food here was great too. I would definitely stay here again.

A Great Escape
This location is one of the most breathtaking places on the planet. The resort is located in a remote area--perfect for a getaway with wonderful natural vistas, not so good if you want to go clubbing. The property is huge, so shuttles are running constantly. This is NOT a problem. Our experience was that the shuttle arrived practically before you called. There is some construction going on but that was not a problem for us as we stayed in one of the older villas near the shore. The newer ones up the hillside look gorgeous, but there might be more construction. Our unit was 301, a villa suite ocean view. It is 20 years old and a little on the rustic side, but it had a larger plunge pool than most, complete privacy and a million dollar unobstructed view of both Pitons and ocean. If it wasn’t for this location (the staff said it was by far the best) I would have chafed a bit more at some the outrageous prices for eating on the property. We rented a car so that we could come and go as we pleased without worrying about $20-$40 cab fares into town.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Order room service breakfast for one with coffee for two and that’s plenty for two people and much less expensive than their breakfast buffet. Try lunch in town at Camille’s--the local food is great! Fine dining on property is not incredibly fine and will cost $250 for two with wine and cocktails.

going back within two years!!
I can’t wait to have the time to go back to the Jalousie. It is a beautiful place, service is frienly, made us feel special. The food is a bit pricy
