Ok
This hotel was ok but definitely not a four star. It would have been twenty years ago but definitely needs an upgrade as everything is a bit worn. Air conditioning in room was useless so far too hot. Breakfast was ok but not much choice. A nice pool outside to relax in. There were definitely better hotels in the area but I can’t really complain for the price I paid, it was very cheap compared to others.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
A group of us went to a bar for a drink, outside venue with a live singer. When we paid they said it was ten euros per drink as there was live entertainment, they did not mention this when ordering. What a joke, we even had to pay ten euros for a tiny bottle of lemonade. Avoid this bar if there is live music on!!

Decent hotel in Montecatini Terme
NIce hotel with a swimmingpool and breakfast outside. Friendly personel with good knowledge of English. I recommend it cause it’s priceworthy.
Take the Funicular railway to the old town of Montecatini. Very nice.

good clean hotel
we stayed in montecatini for 7 days 2 of which was in this hotel. the hotel was clean and the food was excellent the staff spoke good english the only downside is the road outside the hotel is very busy all day and night so if you want peace and quiet you won’t get it here,i would recommend going to montecatini alto on the funicular railway in the evening for the sunset but don’t eat at bar giusti not very good service
