Excellent hotel with Excellent Customer Service
Loved this hotel! This is the smaller upscale addition to the Sheraton in Santiago. Weve traveled extensively and this is one of the best hotels for customer service that weve ever stayed in. From the moment we pulled up to the doormen, we were immediately greeted and personally excorted to the quaint check-in desk. We were immediately offered a drink and my 6-year old daughter was given a South American coloring book with crayons with various South American animals. No worries about the luggage. Spacious, clean rooms with nice views of the city and Andes mountains. "Happy Hour" was a nice surprise with butlet-passed hors dourves along with complimentary wine/water/juices in the lobby. Also, saw fashion shows during this time. The wine/water/juices were available all the time in the lobby. Free bottled water in the rooms as well. Concierge couldnt be better. Easy to talk with and schedule dinners, etc. Loved the service in the lobby: always opening the doors for us and greeting us by name! Housekeeping service was impecable, with also turn down service with Chocolates and more bottled water. Location was good. Can take taxis to every location for extremely cheep prices. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Worth the extra money!!!
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Note: the doormen will hail the cabs offering "fixed" rates e.g. 4000-6000 pesos. We found it much cheaper to hail the metered cabs yourself (need to walk down the hill away from the hotel entrance) as fare to the same destination was much cheaper e.g. 1500-2000 pesos. No need to tip taxis here.

Great Place to stay
We stayed there for 4 days and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They had great recommendations for tours and restaurants. Well definitely go back!
