Really liked this hotel and would recommend it
The location is great. Close enough to downtown yet far enough away for a great nights sleep!

Ask for upstairs room
Second visit to Juniper and we will go back again, but ask for an upstairs room. It sounded as though we had a herd of elephants in the room above and we really got a bad nights sleep. We had paid extra for a balcony room which we had assumed was upstairs but it can also mean you get a terrace room, the helpful lady on reception did offer to move us when we queried the room we had been allocated but as it was only for 1 night and we had already half un packed we declined her offer but so wish we hadnt. Great value for money, 20 mins easy walk into town, fantanstic views and amazing sunset , we will stay again.
Traveller's tip on dining
We liked Wild Bills , buts its hard to find as its above the some shops in town, so all thats at street level is the stairway. Weve never managed to stay after 10 but they regularly had bands/line dancing on if you fancy a bit of entertainment.

Where is this Hotel? We are almost getting lost !
Everything is fine except one - WHERE on earth is the hotel? My husband and I booked a doubole-bed room for our honeymoon(strange but true, double-bed is cheaper at that time) in the Juniper Hotel. Because we were not familiar with Canada at all, we used google map to find anywhere we plan to go, including this Hotel. How mistake we are to depend on google map competely. We just "CANT" find our Hotel! The sky was getting dark and we were so afraid of getting lost, not mention we were foreigners. And we didnt know "Whats wrong" at all. The answer was "GOOGLE MAP is showing the wrong location of this hotel." God blessed us. After a quarrel with each other, we luckly found the information center, and we had more luck, it isnt closed yet. Finally, we got the right location and arrived safely. Thanks God, we dont have to practice " Survie the wildness."
