Pleasantly Impressed
The quality of the hotel and staff exceeded the price. I not only highly recommend this hotel, I hope to stay there again.
Traveller's tip
The local people in Mexico City were very friendly and helpful. Also, the Angel of Independecia moment was within walking distance.

Not the best
We were woken up at 3 am by music from the building behind us and it put a real damper on "vacation." The floor was never mopped and they are rather stingy with their towels. I would suggest something on Reforma or in Zona Rosa.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
The Zona Rosa for drinks or music.

Zona Rosa Bargain
At something like $xx per night the Condesa Reforma was a bargain for the size of the room (large - they gave us a jr suite; dont know if it was an upgrade or just what they always do) which featured a kitchen, desk and double bed with big pictures windows opening to a rather boring view of the street. But nonetheless, it was clean albeit smelling vaguely of cigarettes when non-smoking was requested, but not intolerable by this rabid non-smoker, the staff were helpful, the hotel newly refurbished and did I mention the room was big?
