Good things come in small packages
The dorm room-sized single room had everything I needed and was quite clean and aesthetically pleasing. The rate was great. The breakfast was fabulous! And it’s a block from Central station.

My best Amsterdam Hotel experience
I have stayed in at least 10 different hotels in Amsterdam, including the 5* Amstel, the Marriot and various cheaper hotels. However, in terms of value for money and location, the Bellevue is the best so far. It is a 2 minute walk from Central Station. Also it is one of the few cheaper hotels that has a safe in every room. Recently refurbished, it is clean and not yet ’worn’. Finally if you cross the road and walk 200 yards to the right of the hotel, there is a coffee shop selling proper coffee in decent sized portions run by a dutch guy who lived for several years in New York. Drinking coffee at his shop is amusing because he is a complete and utter a-hole, yelling at all his customers, but he makes Amsterdam’s best coffee - a good way to start the day!!

Well positioned and comfortable hotel
This was my fourth visit and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Ideally situated close to the Central Station and other amineties. I look forward to visiting again next year.
