What could be a good hotel spoiled by an obnoxious drain sewer smell pervading corridors & rooms
This could have been considered a good hotel, the food at breakfast was good, rooms and beds comfortable and clean, pool was nice although hot tub out of order, but there was an obnoxious smell of drains/sewers pervading all the rooms and corridors in the vicinity of the lift shaft on both 1st and 2nd floor at rear of the building. This was so bad we had to go out and purchase a plug in air freshener, but even this did not completely disguise the smell. This needs to be sorted out because we wouldn’t go back again because of it, and it is a shame.

Really good hotel
A really good hotel, within walking distance of all amenities & sights. Rooms are spacious and clean with TV, fridge. We took our pet and were allocated a room with a patio door to the parking area. Which was really handy. Parking space at the back of the hotel is limited and a small fee charged per night. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was really good. Did not use the indoor pool, but it looked pretty inviting.

very well placed, an easy walk into city
hotel was well placed, rooms were comfortable and clean, the one thing that let it down was the carpets in the lobbies etc, they were stained and well worn, it just gave the impression that it needed refurbishment, breakfast was good, I would stay there again.
