Beautiful lodge
An exceptional experience. Beautiful lodge, grounds, room, restaurant. Ive already recommended it to friends. Just make absolutely sure that you have good directions and a map to get there and to get back to the main highways. The winding, country roads are not well marked or lit and the distances are much farther that youd imagine. A city girl trying to find this place in the dark was a real challenge.

We would try this hotel again
My husband did research to get us a reservation at the nicest hotels in the area. He succeeded in that. There were a few lightbulbs out and the jets in the tub did not work properly but the room was very comfortable and spacious. The restaurants menu, although limited was wonderful for both breakfast and dinner. The food was prepared to order and came out hot every time. I think the people at the front desk need a lesson in friendly. We went out each day to the mountains and since its a National park, food is not available. The hotel offers boxed lunches but they miss the mark as those lunches are not available until noon the following day, which doesnt do any good when you are off and running at 8 or 9 am.
