Bring a Modem
I was told by a taxi driver, and observed with my own eyes, that the Suffren is a business hotel. If that’s really their aim, they need to improve their internet access situation. The hotel room (nice) had only a dial up modem port and if you didnt have a local access number to call or didnt want to pay hotel rates to do so, good luck. The front desk had a very limited number of wireless modems available for rental, but were all out when I needed one, Their business center has all of two PCs. Not a good situation all in all if you need to connect.

Fantastic hotel - shame about the surroundings...
We found our stay at the hotel fantastic, however the town in which it is situated leaves a lot to be desired. Once you leave the Caudan Waterfront, the place is like a completely different country. The streets are filthy, with rubbish piled high. Obviously they don’t have an environmental health department...
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
There aren’t many recreational activities outside of the resorts. Activities limited to scuba-diving or similar and fishing.
