Perfect hotel/casino/shopping to take yourself, kids and grandkids, the aquarium is fantastic!
We make a point to stay at the silverton, the 2 story salt water aquarium is awesome, the seating for non smokers, non casino people is great - kids and adults are mesmerized by the tank and bass pro shops displays, shooting galleries, etc. The Mermaid bar with jellyfish aquariums is next to the tank and you can sit and watch all the aquariums while having a drink. Very relaxing. The cafe has the best food and service we’ve had in the Las Vegas area and the prices are quite reasonable.

Perfect for Families and Singles
Fun environment, great stuff for the kids and a lot of fun to be able to go to Bass Pro shop without leaving the building! Great Restaurants. Easy parking, great valet too.

Will stay there every time we go to Las Vegas
We enjoyed the hotel for several reasons: it was not as large as many of those on the strip, in January the hot tub and pool were available for use and we had the whole area to ourselves, we used the gym each day, and enjoyed the uncrowded casino. The only drawback was that we had to drive (rented a car) to the other Las Vegas attractions. But it was worth it to be able to get away from the craziness of the strip. The food at the Silverton was not very good. We ate the sea food buffet on Friday night (ok), prime rib in the cafe on Saturday (tough and not enjoyable)and the breakfast buffet on Sunday (terrible). None of these meals were good.
