Good price for mid-range hotel. (Clean, spacious, courteous staff)
Good size rooms. There were lots of German clients, but that didnt bother us. Location OK. Didnt use restaurant at all, we preferred to eat out. Also used the kitchenette(kettle, toaster, two rings, fridge) for breakfast and some lunches. Beds in bedroom really big and comfy, although our sons sofabed in lounge was very hard - but he still slept.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
I booked this hotel, due to number of tennis courts (10)however, when we got there all of them being used all week, every day, all day by German youth camp - very disappointing.

Good value for money.
If youre looking for a comfortable and affordable apartment in Cala Bona then this is the ideal place. Although we used very little of the hotel facilities, as we always choose the sea over a hotel pool anyday, we did come back earlier enough one evening for the outdoor show which in all honestly was so bad you just had to stay to laugh at the performance! Rooms are large and airy, and although basic were good value for the price paid. The walk to the beach and the harbour took only minutes and was not too far to be of any bind. If you want a calm evening enjoy your food around the Harbour and Paco Paco do have live music every evening (albeit a little repititive after several nights). The older amongst you will go to the Levante for your entertainment although anyone under 50 may feel a little young!!! This is our second time to Cala Bona this year and is a great place to relax, if you want a more Hedonistic time this is not for you - try Magalluf!

A relaxing experience
We were very nicely surprised with the quality of this hotel and general area of Mallorca. We received excellent service from the friendly hotel staff and found the rooms to be spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchenette area was well equipped and we had no problems with air con, tv or oven. Also plenty of hot water for everyone after days at the beach. The hotel pools (3 outdoor pools) were very clean and well maintained and we always managed to get a sunbed. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet location in Cala Bona. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops, beaches and supermarket. It has a good range of restaurants with a picturesque setting right beside the sea and port area. If you want a relaxing, chilled holiday, this is an ideal place, particulary for couples or families. There are also boat trips to choose from if you fancy a day out. The much busier Cala Millor is only a 15 minute walk along the coastal path if you prefer more nightlife, shops and restaurants selling British food.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
For a nice trip out from Cala Bona, catch the morning boat to Cala Ratjada on Saturday for the outdoor market. I would definately recommend the Sweet Alaska cafe which overlooks the port for a fantastic continental breakfast at a very reasonable price.
