Location, location, location
The Hotel Cammerpoorte is so close to the tourist centre of Antwerp that it could not be beaten for anything like the price - 5 minutes walk to the Groenmarkt. It is not 4* - but we knew that when we booked it. It is in a little need of TLC - but the facilities all worked, the bed was comfortable (and large) and the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful.

Great Location!
Hotel is very close to the train station and the city center. The staff was very nice and gave us a laundry detergent for the laundromat! Antwerp is beautiful and, if you’re going, this hotel is a steal.

Would not recommend
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We were given a room that had one wall COMPLETELY covered in mold. We then asked for another room and were given a room that smelled of cigarette smoke. The rooms are VERY basic. All carpeting and walls throughout hotel are in very poor condition. Bathrooms were ok. Breakfast was ok. Walls were incredibly thin - we could hear the people talking next door, never mind their shower, toilet, etc. I would put this on par with poor hostels. Incredibly overpriced. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location.
