Would recommend
Beautiful architecture of hotel. Room was a little small with view on the inner court which took away from the pleasure of being in this hotel. Bathroom recently remodeled with marble, very spacious and very comfortable, as large as the room . Neighbourhood very elegant near Saint Paul’s church and the river, a 15mn walk from downtown or a 5mn walk from the tram, very practical. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful.
Strasbourg is a beautiful city at the end of spring early summer, very alive ot at Xmas time when the marche de Noel makes it so special and enjoyable.

Good location, good services and very clean room with a reasonable price. What can you ask more? Breakfast was good and it was included.

Wonderful Stay
My wife and I stayed at the Regent Contades in August and had a wonderful experience. We were lucky enough to get the top floor, NE corner room with a view of the river and the Immemorial Church. Breakfast is served on the 3rd floor, is standard European fare, and we found it to be very good each morning we were there. Ludowig (I hope I spelled his name correctly) was extremely helpful with an excellent restaurant recommendation (if you like Tapas and Wine, you must go to Rest O’ Vin, a short walk from the hotel). The hotel is convenient for walking to Petite France and most of the rest of the city. Parking and laundry at the hotel are both very expensive, so be prepared. There is limited street parking in front of the hotel, and there is a small laundry a couple of blocks away.
