Good location but noisy at the weekend
Good service. Great location next to the BIC and the beach. Renovated downstairs bar area is nice. Breakfast is ok, but nothing special. Room was large and functional with no frills. Loud music til 2am at the weekends will probably keep you awake, you can hear the music even if you close your window. And if you close your window then you realise that the rooms do not have air conditioning!

Brilliant location for weekend break in centre of bournemouth
The hotel was surprisingly nice for such a reasonable price. The staff were smiley and cheerful and our room was spacious and had lots of nice touches (TV, tea and coffee making stuff, jacuzzi bath, very comfy bed, lots of natural light). The best thing about it was that it is 2min walk from everything right by the Pier approach and the gardens, we didnt have to walk any long distance to anywhere all weekend, perfect. In the morning we went down for breakfast, which was all the usual things you would expect, but it was nice too! I was kind of waiting for something to be rubbish because it was such good value, but in fact everything was great and we didnt have any reason to be anything other than really happy all weekend!
The best Beach-side restaurant is Westbeach, which serves amazing fish dishes and has outside tables. A few minutes walk into town is "The Print Room" which is in a fabulous buiding with double height ceilings, black and white checkered flooring, chandeliers and art-deco modern decor. Fantastic food and good service. Ink Bar is attached.

No hesitation in recomending
Nice clean hotel. Staff extremely helpful and efficient. Only slight criticism breakfast although freshly cooked was unimaginative. Would recommend this hotel to anyone requiring good central accomodation in Bournemouth
