Comfortable Elegence
Period building very elegently and comfortably furnished and decorated with excellent public rooms. Food was first class, rooms not large but very cosy. Service and helpfulness could not be better. What they do very well is the small touches in the rooms and public areas such as putting out cheeses, pates and snacks for guest after 8 pm, honesty bar etc. More like staying in your own home than a Hotel. Other hoteliers could learn a lot from staying here......

Good Place to Stay in Ramsgate
Found it on the internet and was impressed with the service (great breakfasts and very friendly staff),excellent value honesty bar, very comfortable interesting and inviting public spaces, rooms well kept (we had a family room) and spacious. Location right by the port but quiet, good access to shops and beaches couldn’t be closer to the the ferries. We’d happily go back. Parking was only problem but not awful.
Beach was great for our 5 year old granddaughter, loads of family friendly attractions nearby, roads are busy but not as congested as say Surrey, you need a car.

fab hotel and would go back
we had a great stay at the royal harbour, warm welcome and a lovely setting. i was even more please as when i went for breakfast they had chai tea!! lol lots of choice on the breakfast too. we really enjoyed our stay and would return again. if you like a calm and relxing stay then this is your place!
