Great location but the staff were rude + not worth the money; stay across the road at the Carlton!
Hotel Africa claims to be 5* but it’s more like a 3* when you consider there is no pool and and the staff are very rude indeed. My partner and I are early 30s from London and felt ripped off; we stayed a night at the Carlton across the road and it was much better value.

Great hotel in ideal location
Hotel Africa in Tunis is ideally located in the city, very comfortable, modern, and an oasis of quiet in a fascinating and bustling city. I was extremely pleased to have ’ended up’ there because when booking on the web in a city you have not visited before, it is not always clear whether the selected lodging will live up to its description and photos.

Good for businessmen
Hotel is located at center of Tunis. There is not too much to see and its far from resorts. there is no swiming pool. In case you need internet it will cust 20 DT ( 17$) pre day and quality of conecction is not very impressive (128 kb)restorant at hotel is very expensive compare to street price.
